The Need
River Valley Leadership Institute (RVLI) is a hands-on leadership and ministry program based in Minneapolis. While the program itself was vibrant and growing, its digital presence didn’t reflect that energy.
Previously, the website functioned primarily as a PDF repository — long-form documents that required downloading and scrolling through static content.
The Work
I led the transformation of RVLI’s content and identity into a cohesive digital experience.
Starting with a new brand direction, I translated visual energy — bold color, youthful photography, and clear typography — into a structured website system. I reimagined the information architecture to move away from dense document-style content and toward intuitive sections such as Student Life, Academics, Leadership Development, and Apply.
The Outcome
The new RVLI website:
Replaced static PDFs with an engaging, accessible digital experience
Clarified the program structure for prospective students
Strengthened recruitment messaging
Created a clear, frictionless application pathway
Reflected the vibrancy and leadership focus of the institute
